Scoutlane helps organize evidence, but hiring teams make final decisions and must follow applicable employment laws.
Terms of Service
These terms explain how recruiters, companies, candidates, and authorized users may use Scoutlane AI across job setup, applications, AI review, scheduling, reports, and integrations.
Product terms
The platform helps teams create jobs, receive applications, parse resumes, compare candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage recruiter workflows while keeping humans responsible for employment decisions.
Scoutlane helps organize evidence, but hiring teams make final decisions and must follow applicable employment laws.
AI summaries, scores, recommendations, and questions can be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed by humans.
Hiring teams must provide appropriate notices, collect consent where required, and keep candidate-facing policy links accurate.
Trials and paid plans are handled through manual or signed agreements unless verified self-serve checkout is enabled.
By accessing or using Scoutlane, you agree to these Terms. If you use Scoutlane for a company, recruiting agency, or hiring team, you represent that you are authorized to use the service for that organization. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Scoutlane may produce resume parsing, match summaries, scores, recommendations, interview questions, voice-screening summaries, and candidate comparison views. These outputs are generated from available information and may be incomplete, outdated, biased, or incorrect. You must review outputs before using them and must not use Scoutlane as the sole basis for employment decisions.
Scoutlane is a decision-support workspace, not a replacement for recruiter judgment, employment-law review, accessibility obligations, or customer governance. Customers are responsible for deciding whether their use case is allowed in each jurisdiction before using Scoutlane with real candidates.
Scoutlane may connect with providers for hosting, storage, email, AI, calendar scheduling, voice screening, analytics, logging, and support. Google Calendar, Microsoft Calendar, Resend, AI providers, and other third-party services may apply their own terms, privacy notices, usage limits, and provider policies. Disconnecting an integration may limit the related feature.
Customers and candidates keep ownership of the content they submit, including company data, job data, candidate applications, resumes, interview content, and related hiring materials. Scoutlane owns the platform, software, design, workflows, documentation, and service technology. You grant Scoutlane the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, secure, support, and improve the service.
Customers processing EU, UK, India, US state privacy, or other regulated candidate data should enter into a signed customer agreement, order form, or data processing addendum with Scoutlane before production use. Those documents can define controller/processor roles, subprocessors, transfer safeguards, retention, audit, support, and customer-specific compliance obligations.
Scoutlane may offer trials, demo workspaces, manual plans, or paid access through a signed order form or sales-led agreement. Self-serve checkout is not part of these Terms unless it has been explicitly enabled and verified in the product. Plan limits, pricing, invoices, payment terms, and renewal details may be set in a separate order form or written agreement.
Scoutlane may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves, especially during early production launch and provider-gated rollouts. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support requests can be sent to support@scoutlaneai.com.
Scoutlane is provided as a recruiting operations platform and decision-support tool. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties that it will be error-free, fit every hiring context, or guarantee any hiring outcome. Liability terms in a signed order form or customer agreement may override this section.
If your organization signs a separate order form, data processing addendum, statement of work, or customer agreement with Scoutlane, that signed document controls where it conflicts with these public Terms. Jurisdiction-specific legal terms should be finalized in signed customer agreements after legal review.
